Optimum Base Mix

Optimum base mix with liquids. Just add eggs.

This Base mix is supplied with the correct amount of liquid food/flavour for the weight ordered.

We recommend 8 to 9 eggs per kg depending on egg size.

Liquids to be added at 30ml to 40ml per KG.

Note : The Optimum is a very high milk protein bait, this can cause the bait to dry out quickly if left unattended. We recommend sealing in a bag for 30 minutes to allow the soaking process, then just add extra egg/liquids or base mix depending on how sticky or stiff you would like the paste.

Short boiling times are recommended for this bait due to its high milk protein content. Always run a test boil before committing to boiling large amounts.

This bait gives very high yields, when rolled correctly expect returns of over 30KG from 20KG of base mix.

Previous rolling experience is recommended but not essential.

We make no apologies for the cost of this bait. It contains a very high percentage of quality milk proteins and hydrolysed ingredients. This bait was never formulated around costs but on its effectiveness and its ability to give anglers results. Its solubility is exceptional which means it does need to be used with this in mind but makes a perfect cold water bait. It’s generally instant and does not seem to benefit greatly from heavy pre baiting. If you are looking for that special bait that’s totally different from anything currently available, then look no further.

Please note : Due to the fact that our baits contain natural products, and No artificial dye’s there may occasionally be variation in pigmentation. These differences are very infrequent and do not affect the bait’s performance. Please bear this in mind when ordering, if you require a specific shade of colour.
